Welcome to Maybe I’ve Said Too Much!

Izzy, Joel, and Mike take to the air and to your ear for a new maker(ish?) podcast. Intentionally unfocused and perfect only in its imperfection. Our content is loosely based on the business of making stuff but we throw out all the rules every episode so you never know what we are going to say… and we don’t either!

THE GUYS

Izzy

Izzy is the owner and operator of all things Izzy Swan. Content creator, tool designer, and founder of the Tool Masters Association. If you can build it, or build with it, he’s made one.

Joel

Joel is the owner and operator of the Missing Digit Woodshop. They specialize in the cool, the quirky, and the must have in production woodworking.

Mike

What can we say about Mike that hasn’t already been said? Part time tinkerer, goofball personality, and the only one that said yes to hosting this cat herding radio show.

Our Newest Episode

Gluton for punishment and friend of the show Andy Birkey stops by to discuss what is a community. What is the importance of a community and why we should all be plugged into one. E Pluribus Unum – From the many we are one.

Maker Christmas!

We are looking to make a list and check it twice! Buy local is the montra of the holidays! If you are a maker with goods to sell please let us know who you are and where to find you so folks can keep their hard earned dollars on our soil this holiday season!

The Archive

We conjure up some childhood memories and talk honestly about why this time of year isn’t the greatest for some of us. The holiday season weighs heavy on some of us. Its okay to talk it out, or tickle it out if you have friends like Joel and Izzy.

Its that time of year again when families come together and try to strangle each other all while being thankful! Isn’t it great? Well we spend our time being thankful and hopefully inspiring some of you to look for the new year through different eyes. Thank you too all of you for your love and continued support!!

Every now and again you just gotta let it out. We bark at HGTV and furniture companies and youtube advertising and… well, you’ll hear. So pull up your festivus pole and gather round as we air our grievances! We do end with butterflies though..

If you read the title you could have guessed that we are all over the place on this one… but you really have to listen to appreciate the joy the 3 of us shared when we just hit record and let the good good happen. Come on it.. the water is warm.. and that’s Izzy’s fault.

Speaking of.. Izzy’s audio sucks a little. We couldn’t fix it 100% in post production (our editing team is paid in bananas so we get monkeys) but it will be fixed on future episodes.

Our good friend Andy joins us once again to talk about success and failure and stepping out of your comfort zone. Or in his case, trying to stay as far away from his comfort zone as possible. This conversation is a real treat! Get some of that halloween candy for your ear holes!

Thank you RED SMITH for the topic!

What happens when we fall, when the distance between who we are and who we think we are becomes hard to overlook. When little bad habits creep into your life and pull you away from all the goals, and dreams, and change you so subtly that you hardly notice. This was a tough conversation and one we wanted to have because WE ALL experience it.

Izzy’s back and Maker Christmas sign up is live and hot and you should be involved! Mike gets a CNC and a new love of woodworking.
This is one of our favorites shows so far.

What do you get when Izzy gets the flu? Jimmy DiResta!
Jimmy stops by the show to talk about what he’s up to these days. From guest spots on legendary tv shows to building up his new shop to working on a soon to be announced television collaboration… and he took the time to chat with us. Love this man.
